Getting your puppy started on an adult diet

Rover may still act like a puppy, but he's now an adult dog. This means his nutritional needs have changed and you need to switch him over to an adult food like Hill's Science Plan Adult. This will provide him with all the nutrients, vitamins and minerals he needs.

Making the shift form puppy food to adult food is best done gradually over a 5-7 day period. Each day you can decrease the amount of puppy food and increase the amount of adult food. This will give your puppy lots of time to get used to the new taste and consistency.

Always give food at specific mealtimes. Rover will need 3-4 meals a day now and drop to just 2 a day in a little while. Please consult your vet if you have any further questions regarding the change in your dog’s food.
